Neosilk® Human-Type Collagen Ⅲ, a recombinant protein which is produced by using transgenic silkworms expressed 515 amino acid residues at C-terminal of a triple-helical domain of human type Ⅲ collagen α1(Ⅲ) chain. Type Ⅲ collagen exists in skin and blood vessels, and it has been considered that Type Ⅲ collagen makes more flexibility in tissues as it forms fibers much finer than type Ⅰ collagen. It has also been known that type Ⅲ collagen exists much more in the skin of infants, and the ratio of type Ⅲ collagen to type I collagen is decreased by aging.
As this product is purified from cocoons of transgenic silkworms, it does not contain animal-derived proteins and also any preservative.
