HA-tag is a synthetic peptide corresponding to 9 amino acid residues (YPYDVPDYA) of the influenza virus hemagglutinin (HA). HA-tag is widely used as an epitope tag for the fusion protein. Using an anti-HA-tag antibody, HA-tag fusion protein can be detected by Western blot analysis, and it may also be used for analyzing its localization by Immunofluorescence. This monoclonal antibody (clone 6B3) shows high specificity to HA-tag and is useful to detect fusion proteins with both HA-tag at the N- and C-terminus. For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedures.
